Fox to distribute SRK's My Name is Khan

Actor Shah Rukh Khan and director Karan Johar came together with Hollywood giant Fox Star Studios on Thursday to announce one of the Bollywood’ s biggest film deals.

The film - My Name is Khan - co-produced by Shah Rukh and Karan - has been reportedly bought by Fox for a whopping Rs 98 crore.

Fox which had earlier distributed Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire in India is however not ready to reveal the figures of the deal.

“When Shah Rukh and Karan are there can you put a price,” says CEO Fox Star Studios, Vijay Singh.

Traditionally Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has always tied up with Yash Raj Films for distribution, however earlier this year Karan moved on forming ties with UTV Motion Pictures for two of his upcoming productions.
