Farhan Akhtar’s ventures tend to be as grand and lasting as his poet-father’s words. After the rocking success of ‘Rock On’, his next venture is ‘Sid’. With the details about the film that are to follow, jaws are sure to drop with amazement! The mammoth venture is estimated to cost around Rs 200 crore. Hollywood stars will act in the war movie. The film will be directed by ‘Rock On’ director Abhishek Kapoor. The film`s script would be penned by ‘Ramayan’ scriptwriter Ashok Kumar Banker.
It is believed that the film will be a sequel to Hrithik starrer ‘Lakshya’, but Banker denied the rumour. "This movie is not a sequel to any movie. But, this would definitely be a war movie,” he said.
Banker has also written a book ‘Gods of War’. Despite presumptions that the film can be based on the book, Banker insists the film would be entirely different from the book.
These denials are only building up the suspense. Perhaps, the publicity strategy is already rolling in action!
